Griffith researchers co-designed training for local and provincial government planners to support their capacity to use GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to better understand the areas they are planning for. 

A water quality monitoring instrument made by YSI has been deployed in the Erakor Lagoon, near the hospital, in Port Vila. This instrument will continuously monitor water quality  just a downstream from the hospital.
